--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Group Classes
Group Classes are now forming for both cats and dogs at the Washington Humane Society’s Behavior & Learning Center. Classes are taught in a reward based, positive learning environment where your cat or dog will practice new skills while having fun!

Group classes for both cats and dogs begin with a training orientation for the pet owner. Orientation prepares the family with what to expect from their pet during class as well as offer insight on animal learning theory and proper social development. Orientations are for humans only and there is a one time attendance fee of $25.00 per pet.

After orientation, participants will have the option of signing up for a 4-week training course, specific for their pet’s age and species. The 4-week packages are competitively priced at $100.00/$125.00 per pet. Upon completion of the 4-week course, participants will have the option of continuing their pet’s education by either enrolling in a 2nd training course (CGC Prep, Clicker, Agility Obstacles, etc.) or attending any one of our many single serving workshops where the student can select from a menu of classes expressly targeting their individual needs.

Unlike traditional training classes, many of these single serving workshops will include discussion periods where you can sit as a group and resolve common behavioral problems.
